General
Where are MOV products manufactured?
- At the moment, all CNC parts are manufactured in small batches in China. Then, we perform multiple quality checks, fine adjustments, assemble certain parts, and laser-edge the logo and information on the parts in our Canada studio.
- 3D-printed parts were fabricated in Canada and the USA.
- Locking hardware and other parts were sourced or manufactured in various countries.
Why MOV does not offer water bottles and bottle cages?
Being owners of many different bikes, we spent a lot of time seeking new bottle cages to match our bikes and uses. We did find favourite cages for our own, but they may not be suitable for other riders. Water bottles are very personal and can be mixed and matched for each bike. We believe products on the market already fulfill everyone’s needs.
However, if we can source well designed products and suppliers in the future, we may sell them on our website.
Payment & Shipping
Currency
We only accept payments in US currency for US and international buyers and CAD for Canadian customers.
Tax & duties
- Applicable sales taxes will apply to Canadian customers during checkout.
- Import duties and overseas sales taxes for US and international customers will not be included in the item price or shipping charges. Those charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Please check with your country’s customs office or website to determine what additional costs may be required before placing your order.
- Duties and import taxes could be collected by the courier before or at the time of arrival.
- We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts.
Where do we ship to?
- We currently ship to countries on the Country/Region list shown on the checkout page, but we will expand our coverage in the future.
- Customers must provide a correct shipping address and postal code (in applicable countries). We will not refund or replace lost items due to incorrect information.
Courier options
- We offer flat-rate shipping to Canada and United States addresses.
- We are currently using Canada Post for ground and air parcels. The latest shipping options and fees will be available on the checkout pages.
Lead time
For orders received between Monday and Friday (PST), we will take up to two days to gather parts, pack, label, and ship the package. We will forward the tracking number to buyers immediately after.
Transit times will depend on the selected shipping method.
What if my package is lost?
- We ship all packages with tracking services. If your package is missing after being delivered to your address, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.
- We are not responsible for lost packages due to incomplete or incorrect addresses. Please indicate your buzz number if needed during checkout of your order.
- If an arrangement is available, you may advise the courier of a preferred delivery day and time range before the day of delivery to minimize the chance of a stolen package.
- You may contact the courier of your package with the tracking number for lost or damaged items before reaching us.
Warranty, Exchange & Refund
Can I cancel my order?
If we receive your cancellation request within 48 hours after placing your order, we can cancel it and make a refund.
Warranty Policy
MOV products are carefully designed and can withstand light impacts. All MOV products passed multiple in-house quality checks before being placed inside the shipping package and will serve the owners for many years.
MOV Bike Accessories (MOV) has the following warranty policy for its products. Please read the ENTIRE warranty policy before contacting MOV Bike Accessories to ensure your claim falls within warranty criteria:
- We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for unwanted items.
- If the package and the content are damaged during delivery, please contact and report to the participating courier for compensation.
- Common wear, such as scratches on aluminum parts where contact with metal screws/washers, is caused by normal use. Other surface scratches may be caused by regular uses or during installation, are not manufacturing defects and will not be covered by our warranty.
- The warranty protects the original customer against manufacturing defects and faults but does not cover issues, problems or damages arising from wear and tear, misuse, modification, improper installation or crash damage.
- MOV is not responsible for any damage to bicycles (including paint and/or cosmetic damage), components, or other accessories resulting from the use, improper use, or installation of MOV products. Damage includes, but is not limited to, damage from improper mounting, overloading, or excessive wear due to environmental conditions. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure proper installation and maintenance of our products.
- If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it after reviewing your submitted proofs and our confirmation of the defect. A claim must be submitted within 30 days of receipt.
- MOV is not responsible for dropped and lost attachments mounted, fastened, or linked on our products.
How to claim
- You must email us supporting photos with your claim description to support@movbikeaccs.com. If we can’t determine whether the product is defective in materials or workmanship, you will be asked to return it to us in its original package box for inspection before we issue a replacement or a refund. The cost of your return will be your responsibility.
- Once we receive your return, it may take up to 7 business days for us to initiate the refund process, including return inspection.
- Once the refund is approved and processed, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Check your spam folder if you do not receive it. Due to the processing time of the e-commerce platform and banking system, it may take several business days for the refund to show up in your original payment account.
- Original shipping costs are not refundable.
