The foundation of the MOV modular mounting system fits round seat posts with diameters of 27.0, 27.2, or 31.6, 31.8 mm. The dedicated rubber pad provides extra grip to all seat post surfaces, including carbon fibres, but will not make any scratches if the bike has dropped and rotated the clamp.
Align the rubber pad end and hold the pad in place
Attach the BASE Clamp to the seat post from the large unit
Close the swing arm
Ensure the rubber pad is exposed at the top and bottom evenly surrounding the seat post
Install and tighten the 22mm locking screw to 2.5 Nm, or up to 3 Nm for heavy loads on long off-road rides.
Do not install BASE Clamp to seat post without the included rubber pad. Purchase a replacement directly from MOV if lost.
The loose ink of the logo and decorations printed on the seat post might transfer to the rubber pad. Remove them from the pad with any kind of adhesive tape or soapy water.
